Im Rahmen des internationalen Erasmus+ Projekts „Good, Better, the Best Car Mechanic“ engagiert sich die Landesberufsschule Eggenburg aktiv für eine moderne und praxisnahe Ausbildung im Bereich der Kfz-Technik. Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung einer digitalen Plattform, auf der theoretische und praktische Übungsaufgaben für nationale und internationale Wettbewerbe bereitgestellt werden – abgestimmt auf die aktuellen Anforderungen in der Fahrzeugtechnik.

Durch die Bereitstellung hochwertiger Aufgaben und realitätsnaher Inhalte sollen angehende KFZ-Technikerinnen und -Techniker bestmöglich auf berufliche Herausforderungen und Wettbewerbe vorbereitet werden.

Ein besonderer Höhepunkt war die Teilnahme unserer beiden Lehrkräfte Prof. Gabriel Peter und Prof. Lukas Hackl, die sich mit großem Engagement in die inhaltliche Projektarbeit einbringen. Beim internationalen Projekttreffen in Frankreich arbeiteten sie gemeinsam mit Partnerinstitutionen aus rund sechs europäischen Ländern intensiv an der konkreten Umsetzung der Plattform. Ihr Einsatz und ihre Expertise sind ein bedeutender Beitrag zur Qualität und Ausrichtung des Projekts – und ein starkes Signal für die Innovationskraft unseres Lehrkörpers.

Als zertifizierte EU-Botschafterschule ist uns die Förderung des europäischen Gedankens ein zentrales Anliegen. Der grenzüberschreitende Austausch, das voneinander Lernen und die gemeinsame Weiterentwicklung beruflicher Bildung stehen im Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit.

„Gerade in der Berufsausbildung ist es essenziell, den Blick über den nationalen Tellerrand zu richten. Dieses Projekt zeigt, wie viel Potenzial in der internationalen Zusammenarbeit steckt – für unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler ebenso wie für unser Lehrpersonal. Ich bin stolz, dass wir als EU-Botschafterschule Teil dieser zukunftsweisenden Initiative sind und mit Prof. Gabriel und Prof. Hackl zwei so engagierte Pädagogen an Bord haben“, so Schulleiterin Mag. Das Erasmus+ Projekt ist ein weiterer wichtiger Schritt in der Internationalisierung unserer Schule. Es stärkt die europäische Vernetzung und eröffnet jungen Menschen neue Perspektiven in der beruflichen Bildung.

As part of the international Erasmus+ project „Good, Better, the Best Car Mechanic“, our school is actively involved in modern and practical training in the field of automotive technology. The aim of the project is to develop a digital platform that provides theoretical and practical exercises for national and international competitions – tailored to the current requirements in vehicle technology.

By providing high-quality tasks and realistic content, prospective automotive technicians should be prepared for professional challenges and competitions in the best possible way.

A particular highlight was the participation of our two teaching staff, Prof Gabriel Peter and Prof Lukas Hackl, who are highly committed to the content of the project work. At the international project meeting in France, they worked intensively on the concrete implementation of the platform together with partner institutions from around six European countries. Their commitment and expertise are a significant contribution to the quality and direction of the project – and a strong signal of the innovative strength of our faculty.

As a certified EU ambassador school, promoting the European idea is a key concern for us. Cross-border exchange, learning from each other and the joint further development of vocational education and training are at the centre of our work.

„Especially in vocational training, it is essential to look beyond national borders. This project shows how much potential there is in international cooperation – for our students as well as for our teaching staff. I am proud that we are part of this forward-looking initiative as an EU ambassador school and that we have two such committed teachers on board in Prof Gabriel and Prof Hackl,“ says headmistress Belinda Kalab.

The Erasmus+ project is another important step in the internationalisation of our school. It strengthens European networking and opens up new perspectives for young people in vocational education.
